Somebody call a Doctor?

Dr. Lori Ann Blanton

I am a 56-year-old Evangelist, Registered Nurse and Certified Life Coach. I am on the journey called life. My journey has met with obstacles, hills to climb, sand pits to climb out of, and more than a few situations I just walked right into. But at the end of the day, I stood at the mountaintop and looked back over my trail. I say trail because I did not always follow the rules or advice others left. But at the end of each destination on the journey, I realized I was on the mountaintop! I continue to set goals along this journey. Before me are more hills to climb, valleys to pass through, and pits to navigate. The reason I stop on mountaintops is to look back at what I have already overcome for encouragement to go through what is to come. Today, I realized that the journey filled with the struggles, the falls, and the victories is my testimony. More importantly, I realized it was all in vain if I do not use my testimony to encourage and assist other women facing the same journey. So here I am, transparent to share, advise, encourage, and listen-to you.

Here with a purpose!

Helen Ndubuaku

Helen Ndubuaku-who is she? I am just a 32-year-old biracial Mexican- African American woman. What can I know about life challenges with only 32 years of life? I haven't even made a mark through life; just beginning to live. Oh, but my saying is "I Thank God for catching me at a young age". I was the one who did not believe in myself, accepted others versions of me, followed the crowd to and through trouble, and was mentally controlled by negativity, emotionally strangled with insecurities hindering my mobility. In a season of brokenness, I discovered the best I could be was always within me! Im obviously not at the end of my journey, I have just begun to live the best me! I'm eager, well if I am being honest, I'm resolved to share my continuing journey as we Build the best person we can be from Inside UP!
